Systems Analyst/Application Developer

  • Responsible for administration and maintenance of three (3)  HP RAID 5 servers running NT 4.0, one (1) server running Novell 3.12, and 80+ Pentium workstations running Windows 95, 98, Windows 2000 & NT workstation. 
  •  Provided installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrading, training services, and intranet development services to users for servers, workstations, notebooks, printers, operating systems, and approximately 30 different software programs.
  •  Responsible for the administration and maintenance of MS Exchange Server and Remote Administration Server & maintenance.
  •  Performed systems analysis, working with various teams to determine departmental technology needs, make recommendations and implement systems.
  • Developed software and hardware training courses and trained over 100 staff members, in each of the following MS Office 97 & 2000 products:  Excel 101, Word 101, PowerPoint 101, Access 101, Outlook, Computers 101, MS Windows 95, 98 and 2000 operating systems, Computer Ergonomics 101. 
  •  Supply chain application development and project management:  I developed a multi-user real-time application for process management.  Integrated components included:  (1) Quotation management, including engineering design review (2) Order processing (3) Vendor RFQ and purchasing,  including outsourcing to 3rd party (4) resource management and job scheduling (5) WIP and inventory management (6) Quality Assurance, including inspection processes.  This system also had real-time process tracking, and multiple reporting capabilities. I also developed support manuals and provided training and support for the system. IS Department hardware & software inventory system with a Remote Administration System, and Administrative office functions were integrated in this system.
